To get the best results from your spray tan, please follow all of my pre-tan prep instructions!

If you aren’t able to follow them exactly, please let me know at your appointment.

The Week Before Your Spray Tan Appointment

manicure icon

If you're tanning for a special event please plan your eyelash, manicure/pedicure appointments BEFORE your tan. Soaking in a pedicure tub, plus the lotion and oils used during these services can cause your tan to fade quicker.

Spray tans should be booked 2 to 3 days before the event.

12-24 Hours Before Your Appointment

Shower and exfoliate your face and body using a loofah or dry brush at least 24 to 48 hours before your spray tan session.

Please do not use any soap, especially DOVE or other intense bar soap, or products with oils, 12 hours before your tan. They can leave a film on the skin that causes your tan to be uneven.

Shaving icon

Wax or shave at least 24 hours before. Use a razor that does NOT have a moisture strip on it.

The Day of Your Appointment

Allow at least 4 hours, preferably more, between your shower and your appointment.

Makeup icon

Don’t apply makeup, moisturizer, deodorant, or perfume.

Clothing icon

Wear dark-colored, loose-fitting clothes to your appointment. No leggings, jeans and/or sweats with tight bands. Plan to leave without a bra if possible and wear flip flops, weather permitting.

Food icon

Be sure to eat before your appointment. It helps to avoid becoming dizzy, or light-headed while being sprayed.

Bathing suit icon

Please wear or bring whatever you're comfortable tanning in. Most people wear black underwear or a bathing suit they don't care about. Disposable underwear are available upon request.
If you’re tanning for a special occasion, don’t forget to think about the outfit you plan to wear to avoid tan lines in the wrong places!
